Living in Dubai, UAE since 2001, Lucy enjoys the energy, opportunity and entrepreneurial spirt that emerging markets provide. In 2004 Lucy co-founded DABO & CO with her sister Camilla, an integrated communications agency, in Dubai, UAE and spent the next 11 years building it to be the largest independent agency of its kind in the region.


With a renowned priority for excellence at its core, underpinned with creativity and a powerful company culture that was the heartbeat of the business, DABO & CO went on to be recognized with over 20 industry awards, 15 MEPRA awards, including Agency of the Year over 2 years, 3 MEEA Awards, PR News Global CSR Award. DABO & CO was also listed in the Top 10 ‘Great Places to Work’ Index 3 years consecutively and ranked in the Dubai SME 100.


In 2015 DABO & CO was acquired by Edelman, the largest PR firm in the world, Lucy remained as Managing Director within the business for almost 2 years, supporting the integration and merger of the business regionally before handing over the reins to Edelman.


Lucy now works as a Business Advisor and Communications Consultant leveraging her extensive knowledge and experience in both building and selling a successful business in the Middle East and two decades in the Creative Communications industry. She works with a wide range of business leaders to create and produce their own success stories. With a particular focus on work around the influence of an effective and inspiring culture, a clear purpose, leveraging the infinite power of people and building a sustainable business.


Lucy is also an Executive Coach having completed her AOEC, ICF accredited, diploma, working with individuals and teams to support them to reach their full potential. Her particular focus is on fellow entrepreneurs and SME’s as it can be a challenging existence at the helm of an independent business.


On a personal level, Lucy has been recognized as Entrepreneur of Year by the SME Stars of Business Awards 2015 and named as one of the 50 Most Influential Brits in the Arabian Business index in 2013 and 2014. Lucy lives in Dubai with her husband Chris, 3 children (Jack, Poppy and Florence), their cat Leo, Lucky the hamster and Poppy the dog (yes, dog and daughter have the same name!)
